SW: TOR request - Darth Ultious

Here's something I've owed a good freind of mine for a long time. Darth Ultious, from various Star Wars projects.

Darth Ultious, Lord of Vengeance (Born Fury)

“My fury, my strife, my sorrow: all shall be your loss. The cross of sin has marked you with my hatred justice will be done through these hands: beaten, broken, and damned; for the Heavens have forsaken me. With a single blade of amethyst I will enact the retribution of every innocent you left indignant. Through the volts of reprimand coursing through my veins and upon my finger-tips: I will teach you suffering as you have wrought upon this galaxy. I am Vengeance; and your damnation has only just begun.”

Fury was born on Geonosis, to two Sith Pureblood Slaves; their family had been shamed, dishonored, and stripped of all rights for the crimes of an ancestor over one thousand years ago – left to suffer as the sub-Sith slaves. His father died, brutally and without the slightest glimmer of hope: he fell in gladiatorial battle against a trio of Tarentateks, three months before he was born. His mother dies shortly after his third birthday; the cruelty of the other prisoners and guards knowing no bounds on a world of the Sith. Fury, like his father, was forced to fight for the amusement of the noble Sith and Imperials; as well as their prospective Chiss allies, and others. When not fighting, he was in a forced labor camp, mining precious minerals such as iridium and cortosis from the caves of Geonosis.

Fury’s life would forever be changed on his sixteenth birthday, his gift being the same Tarentateks that killed his father. Driven into misanthropic psychosis, Fury used the Force, despite the inhibitor collar he was forced to wear, and crushed every organ in their handler’s body; then taming the beasts with his own Dark Side power. Those in the audience were in awe, but most displeased. At first he was to be sentenced to death; but, it was decided he was better off on Korriban, studying to become a useful asset to the Emperor.

On Korriban, he took the name Ultious, and excelled beyond the expectations of any and all instructors; training specifically as a Sith Sorcerer. He favored the lightsaber style of Makashi, due to his extensive knowledge of gladiatorial combat, and his newfound fetish for “electric negotiations”. It was in no stretch of time that he rose above Acolyte, to an Apprentice, then a Lord; and finally a Darth: personally slaying the former council-member, whose chair he now sits in, in front of the rest of his now-peers.

Two things mark Ultious as distinct from most Sith; while driven by vengeance and the dark side, he is not inherently a sadist, nor a sociopath. Compassion, kindness, and even absolute altruism are traits he expresses commonly. He believes that true power comes from true pain, and that only those whose hands are stained with sin and blood deserve that power turned on them; otherwise he is as vile as those he hates most. A demon, without a doubt, but noble and with honor; Ultious is a peculiar Sith.
His rumored ties to an “Inverse Order” swearing allegiance to “Revan, and the path to Knightfall”, make him even more suspect to existing outside the confines of Lawful Evil.

His most worthy and common adversary, however, is a Jedi Knight, by the name of Lucian; known as the Lightsworn Guardian of the Jedi Order and Galactic Republic. From their duels on Kashyyyk, Onderon, Dantooine, Ossus, and aboard the neutral space station “Bindo’s Aphorism” the two have been at constant equal footing and in direct conflict with each other. Though rumors throughout the underworld that there may be more than antagonism between the two, especially after their final duel aboard Bindo’s Aphorism.

Author’s Notes:
Vagrant-Samurai: Darth Ultious is one of my longer running Star Wars characters, hence his fleshed out biography. He was originally designed to be a Kel Dor, but when TOR went live and that was not an option, I redesigned him as a Pureblood, and love him even more this way. I’ve got something of a penchant for designing either the most heroic of heroes or the most dastardly of villains, so I wanted to try something more complex with Ultious; he’s still well within the realm of redemption, and Lucian might possibly have already done it or all we know. He’s morally complex and that’s his defining point in my book; something I have difficulty doing – non-polarized morality. He would never hurt an innocent or fight an opponent he deemed too weak to challenge him; old fashioned Honor in the Japanese sense, but extremely brutal and merciless to his worthy foes: also honorable in the Japanese sense.

I was really drawn towards the complicatd nature of this guy, annd had a lot of fun designing his appearence here. The armour is sort of a cross between a Samurai and Darth Revan's original appearence. The cape hangs free on his right side so it doesn't get in the way of his lightsaber.
