Haven't updated my journal in a while, so this seems as good a time as any. Two days ago I turned twenty-two. I had a small party with my family at home, but seeing as I'm the third oldest of ten kids that means there were plenty of people around anyway.
It was a (relatively) quiet and low-key event, but that's how I like it. My gifts were a cash present from my mom and dad along with a set of throwing darts. My oldest brother bought me a Warhammer 40k drop-pod model, which I was thrilled to get. I've only recently tried getting into modelling, but the set is awesome and if I ever finish assembling and painting it I'll make sure to post photos. One of my sisters gave me home-made chocolate eclairs, and we played darts. I watched an Mst3k Episode (Final Justice) with my brothers and we called it a night. Thrilling eh? I kid. I enjoyed myself and if there's a way to make yourself feel good about gradually getting older, it's by reminding yourself that you're family is right there with you.
In artistic news I know I haven't been very active here lately, so I'll try to rectify that. More micros are the least I can promise, but I might post some pencil-art again soon as well.
In the meantine, thanks for all of the comments and well-wishing. I appreciate them all. God-bless.
